In Matthew 28:19-20, Jesus told his followers, "All authority in heaven and earth has been given to me. Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations...teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you."
These were Christ's last words on earth, our Christian mandate, the Great Commission. And they include three key elements:
Christian leaders are to "make disciples of all nations." The Christian cause isn't complete until the overwhelming majority of humanity become fully committed followers of Christ.
Jesus said, "teach them everything I have commanded." The Christian cause isn't complete until knowledge of Christ’s commands are complete in every person.
Jesus said, "teach them to obey everything I have commanded you." The Christian cause isn't complete until knowledge becomes action: until our doing is as complete as our knowledge.
Project 28 supports this cause using compelling Biblical content, 21st-century training strategies, and the ambition to do joyful justice to so great a purpose. We strive to make a measurable positive impact in the thinking and behavior of as many people as possible.
Our vision is a world of "everyone knowing and doing." It's a world of flourishing faith, abounding love, and measurable progress. It's a world of joyful, productive work. It's a world where churches become the world's great equipping centers for effective living. It's a world where our lives, our families, and our communities are completely transformed.
